This new version of Y!Amp finally works with Yahoo! Messenger 9, and now supports Last.FM, an application that takes what you’re listening to in nearly any media player and shows it on the Last.FM website. The good thing about this is that if you use Last.FM, Y!Amp can simply use it to show what you’re listening to instead of you having to specify a specific media player, such as Winamp, iTunes, etc. Pretty much, whatever Last.FM supports, Y!Amp supports, if you use Last.FM. Pretty cool, isn’t it?

    thanks dude for the stuff, before this i don't know that we can set ym status using winamp, i only try it using my google talk.

    its working good on yahoo messenger 9 version with winamp latest version . Please download the pink hyperlinked... may be you download the old version of yahoo messenger... comment here i will resolve it..

    it doesn't change my ym status, im using YM 9.0.0.2152 with last.fm 1.5.4.2457

    worked for me final version of latest version of ym and latest winamp.:D Hope there would be an icon to go along with the song title.

    How to get this to work? Should I fill out the before and after? Because when I choose winamp it sets my status to my last used status message.

    no you just need to select the winamp open the yahoo messenger and play songs ... i doubt you download old version please download this version and let me know http://elitenick.com/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/download.php?id=1

    woow its so cool to find somethin workin finnaly!! it works gr8 for me . i hv the latest yahoo and winmap. i cant see the headphone icon wiz song tho. but it awsome woks perfect. tnx guyss
