Various network equipment and core server changes have been made this evening to further enhance both performance and security on the Win Bus platform, largely in preparation for the new messenging-driven system currently being worked on.
This means that you MUST update to this version if you wish to connect and chat inside the Win Bus network. While this may be an inconvenience for some people, I constantly monitor, and update this system and I can assure you this a step that is an absolute necessity in maintaining performance and longevity as numbers drive up.
This should not effect Yahoo! at all. All I have to say regarding that poor system (Yahoo!) is, it would seem that the latest "boot" exploit is well on it's way to being patched (a little over 2 months too late), however it has come to my attention there are still numerous unpatched servers which this exploit can be performed on, and until such times those are fixed unfortunately as usual Yahoo! is just a place to be booted from.
