For best results, it is highly recommended to use the latest production version/build of Yahoo Messenger.
This will send (depending on the scan type) specially created packets to send to the target ID. The packet that is sent will return some data back and YInformer will parse that data to determine the online status of the target and/or the cam status, if selected. Depending on what is returned, it will then show if the target is online or really offline. If said target is invisible (stealthed), it will show them as online!
YInformer comes with a built in automatic updater. It will check for an update every time you launch YInformer. If an update is available, you will be prompted about it and can download the update immediately. However, it does not automatically update. The file you download is a self extracting updater that you must launch. It will simply overwrite the existing file(s).
This program will let you scan anyone on Yahoo Messenger for online status. Simply install this program and use the Y Informer shortcut to launch this program. YOU MAY NEED TO RIGHT CLICK AND RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR FOR ALL FEATURES TO WORK!
1. You will need 1 yahoo id for a bot.
2. Login to the YID bot, if you want the program to automatically login and/or as Invisible when you load Y Informer, check the Auto Login and/or Invisible option and then click on Login.
3. After logging in, type in a YID to spy on and then click on the Scan button. Give the program a few moments to complete it and you will see the results in the box below the YID. As of now, the best scan option to use is Packet 2.
4. You can also view your scan history and export it as a text file (.txt) or an html file (.html). The html export will save it as an IE shortcut that you can open and see a "web display" of results. Please note that these exported files are saved locally on YOUR pc and not our webserver!
5. You MUST allow this program internet access through any firewall(s).
6. If you are outside the US or have your pc setup for any language other than English, you must change the Language for Non-unicode Programs options (in control panel under Regional and Language Options) to English or there is a 99.9% chance that YInformer will NOT be able to login your bot ID.
